Nick Mitten – Director, Data IT Consultancy
With more than 20 years’ experience delivering complex technology, cloud and business transformation programmes, Nick is an experienced IT transformation leader with a proven track record of delivering change across multiple industries.
Throughout his career, Nick has operated at senior leadership level, combining strategic vision with hands-on delivery expertise. He specialises in taking complex or challenging technology environments and turning them into structured, scalable and commercially focused transformation programmes.
His experience spans cloud transformation, AWS and Azure, M&A integration, technology strategy, programme recovery, IT operating models, cyber security, service management, governance and large-scale technology delivery.
Nick has led major transformation portfolios, including a £35m AWS transformation, establishing cloud landing zones, Cloud WAN, Cloud Centres of Excellence, workload migration, governance, supplier management and financial control. He has also led significant Azure transformation programmes and large-scale technology migrations involving tens of thousands of accounts and approximately one million documents.
His M&A experience includes establishing new technology capabilities and operating environments from the ground up, including an independent WPT, Security Operations Centre (SOC), IT Service Management (ITSM) capability and AWS cloud landing zone.
Nick’s approach is practical, commercially focused and outcome-driven. He works with organisations to understand their business challenges, establish a clear technology strategy and then lead the transformation required to deliver measurable results.
